Goodbye Scoil Chóca Naofa!
We have come to the end of 10 fantastic years of providing playschool and Afterschool in Scoil Chóca Naofa.
We would like to thank former Principal Breda Faye for having the vision to offer us the opportunity to what has become an incredibly journey in Kilcock.
We thank Linda Daly, every teacher, SNA, secretary, Tommy and Louise for 10 years of support and a unique partnership between preschool and primary school. We also like to thank the BOM and Parents Association for their continued support.
We would also like to thank our amazing staff team Jess,Laura,Elaine,Fiona,Sophie and Neysa who have given the children quality preschool and Afterschool over the years.
We thank every single parent who sent their children to us and went on this journey with us.
Most of all we thank the children for continuing to teach us not us them. It is through our ethos of the power of play that we have gained an insight into their interests development and resilience especially over the last few years.
Community is important for families to have a sense of belonging and over the last year we thank the community of Kilcock especially our parents who kept helping find us a location. It is community who will continue to advocate for the rights of children to access preschool and Afterschool in their community.
It’s important that planning and development make sure that the youngest citizens in the community are afforded their preschool places.
I would like to especially thank Jess for her leadership commitment and dedication to not just teaching but guiding the children through this transition and never giving up.
So it’s with sadness and appreciation that we say goodbye to Scoil Choca Naofa.
We will keep in touch with details about our new location.
We will end with the inspirational Dr Seuss
Thanks
Evelyn & Jess
And all in Kidz@Play
